  • Note:<br />
One of the more interesting elements of cities is those pockets of space tucked away and which in their solitude–and seemingly especially when they are empty of people–take on a life of their own. They become sets in a play. Sets that have been so meticulously constructed, where every possible detail adds to the story or the mystery of the space. I really enjoy imagining what might have happened in these places. What conversations were had? Which were overheard in passing, and of those what fragments did the passers-by hear? What is all of this stuff? What was it used for? Why is it no longer needed? Where does it all go from here? I have so many questions, and I imagine so many scenarios playing out. They really are like stages, and they always have interesting lighting.
